Madelaine Jones,
Founder & Co-ownerDoula, BS Psychology, CMHC Student, Student Midwife, CNA, CPhT
Hi there, I’m Maddy! I founded Hosanna in January 2021, in the wake of the COVID-19 lockdowns, after witnessing the isolation so many mothers experienced. I felt God calling me to walk alongside women during one of the most vulnerable and meaningful seasons of their lives, and I said yes.
After completing my DONA doula training, I dove into birth work with a heart to serve mothers, babies, and families with compassion, faith, and practical support. Since then, God has opened doors I could never have imagined.
I’ve had the privilege of serving more than 570 families and educating over 700 students around the world. My journey has also included working as a CNA in the Maternity and Postpartum Ward at University Medical Center of El Paso, serving as a William Wilberforce Fellow with Students for Life of America and advocating for mothers and babies in Washington, D.C., and being named a finalist in the Best in Birth Austin awards for postpartum care.
Beyond direct care and education, I’ve helped pregnancy resource centers explore and develop maternity homes and birth clinic initiatives—because I believe families deserve meaningful support that extends far beyond the delivery room.
Today, I’m continuing to grow in this calling as a master’s student in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Liberty University and as a midwifery student, learning from midwives with experience in Mexico, Germany, Texas, Alabama, and New Mexico.
At the heart of it all, my mission remains the same: to reflect the love of Christ by caring for mothers, honoring the dignity of every baby, and equipping others to serve families with compassion, knowledge, and faith.
Hosanna is more than a business to me. It’s a calling, a ministry of service, and a growing community of people who believe mothers should never have to walk through birth and early motherhood alone.
Amina Jones,
Co-owner & Head of OperationsDoula, Certified Childbirth Educator (BAI), Mental Health Coach (Light University), Herbalist
Hello, all! My name is Amina, and I’m so glad you’re here! I joined Hosanna after seeing the joy and purpose my daughter, Maddy, found in serving families as a doula. As Hosanna grew, she asked me to lend a hand—and what can I say? I just couldn’t turn down my daughter!
My background is in hospitality and business management, which I studied and excelled in while living in Germany before moving to the United States with my husband, who served more than 20 years in the military. Those experiences shaped my love for serving others, building meaningful relationships, and helping people feel cared for and supported.
Since joining Hosanna, I’ve completed additional training in VBAC support, high-risk pregnancies, and trauma-informed care. As a military spouse, I understand the unique joys and challenges that come with military family life, and that experience fuels my passion for supporting families through some of their most important moments.
For us, Hosanna is more than a business—it’s a ministry rooted in faith, compassion, and a heart for serving others. I’m so grateful to be part of this journey, and I can’t wait to serve more mothers, babies, families, and aspiring doulas alongside our growing Hosanna community!
Samira Mack,
RN (NICU | L&D), IBCLC, ContributorRegistered Nurse (NICU, L&D, Postpartum, IBCLC, Infant Massage Instructor
Hallo ihr Lieben! I’m Sami! I’m part of the team working behind the scenes at Hosanna, helping create meaningful client experiences, develop educational materials, and ensure our work stays within the appropriate scope of practice.
With more than 20 years of nursing experience, I bring a strong clinical background to our team, along with additional credentials as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) and infant massage specialist. My experience includes NICU support, maternal health complications, and caring for military families living abroad.
One of my greatest joys is helping mothers feel informed, prepared, and confident as they navigate pregnancy, birth, and life with their babies. I believe that when moms have access to compassionate support and the education they need, they can feel more empowered in their decisions and better equipped for the journey ahead.
Outside of work, my world revolves around my daughter, Josie, and all the guinea pigs we foster! I’m so grateful to be part of the Hosanna team and to help support families through education, encouragement, and compassionate care.
