Hosanna was initially started in 2021 by founder Madelaine Jones in an effort to change the secular lens labor and parenthood have been stuck in for decades. Our organization aims to uphold Christian doctrine through all services, aiding families in fertility planning, birth, the postpartum period and beyond. Since its initial inception in Austin, Texas, Hosanna Doula and Wellness Services, LLC has moved to El Paso, Texas and expanded services beyond just pregnancy and postpartum (see our services for further details). Our model of care follows holistic and naturopathic approaches, taking into consideration the biopsychological aspects of health, birth, and parenting. This enables our doulas, coaches and healthcare professionals to provide physical, mental and spiritual care uniquely tailored to clients and their families.

Our Specialties

  • We are honored to give back to those who served. With access to Fort Bliss, our staff will bring knowledgeable support to military and first responder families.

  • At Hosanna, we believe mothers should always have a voice in how they labor. We’ve helped dozens of families achieve VBAC’s through birth support and preparation.

  • Our doulas are specially trained in alterative pain management, such as Rebozo, Aromatherapy, and body working techniques to help mothers achieve unmedicated births.

  • Our team understands the fears families may have with high risk pregnancies. Through training and experience, our doulas are here to support you through the highs and lows, every step of the way.

  • Our birth and postpartum doulas love babies, so the more the merrier! We help mothers prepare for and recover from multiples births through our wholistic care and body work practices. We also help families achieve their postpartum feeding and development goals.

  • Mental and spiritual health are just as important as physical health, and they take high priority in our model of care. Having worked with families with diverse needs, we are excited to offer mental health coaching.

  • Need a little extra support in a language you’re more comfortable in, we’re here to help! Both of our doulas are from Germany, and are able to read, write and speak fluently.
